General Questions
What kind of picture do I need?
Almost any kind of picture will do. We've worked with very old picture's of people celebrating 50 year anniversaries as well as pictures of a new born. We can use full colour picture's as well as black and white. Damaged photos can be restored. Jpeg, bitmap, tiff etc files can all be used. If you are unsure then please contact us.
Will my Laserpic come gift boxed?
Yes, all our items come gift boxed.
My picture is very old with a sepia colour. Is this still ok?
That's fine. In fact in many instances many of our customers have commented on how much better the image looks in crystal, almost brings the picture "alive".
Will the picture in the Laserpic crystal fade or wear away?
Because the image is laser engraved within the crystal it will never fade, wear away or deteriorate. It can last forever. Many people use Laserpic crystals as memorials and on occasion leave them outside.
How much text can I have?
We only allow text upto 40 letters in a crystal as any more would mean a smaller picture. If this is a problem and you require more text then please contact us.
I don't have the picture on the computer, only a photograph. What can I do?
That's fine. You can post your photograph, with payment and order details to us. The address is Laserpics.co.uk, 22 Sundew Road, Leicester, LE5 1SY. We'll return your photograph with your crystal. We would suggest that if it is a valuable photograph then you may want to make a copy.
If I send a photograph will it be interfered with?
No. The photograph is scanned into our computer and then anything that needs doing is done to the scanned copy.
Can I use pictures from my mobile phone?
Yes. You can either send them to your own computer by bluetooth or email and then upload them when you order. If you are unable to get them onto your computer then you can send us the picture as a picture message. Many photography shops can also print pictures from your mobile phone. If you are unsure then please contact us.
What are the light bases for?
The light bases are an ideal compliment to our Laserpics crystals. By placing the crystal on the light base it enhances the image greatly by sending a stream of light through the crystal. This is especially effective during the evening.
Delivery Information
How long will it take before I receive my Laserpic crystal?
We state 10 working days but endeavour to get all received orders posted within 5 days. This will take longer during peak periods such as Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day etc. If you are unsure or need your crystal sooner then please contact us.
Does postage apply to every additional item I order?
£2.95 is charged for the first item. £4.95 is charged for 2 or more items.
Will my Laserpic crystal come as a standard delivery?
No, we will either send it by Royal Mail recorded delivery or by private courier. Somebody will have to be in to sign for the item. If nobody is home then a card should be left.
