Laserpics specialises in capturing memorable moments and treasured memories in solid crystal. The Leicester-based company, founded in 2005 by Kirit Thakore and Hansa Solanki, is the UK’s premier crystal engraving specialist.
After starting with just one second-hand machine and producing small quantities of personalised crystals, the business has grown dramatically, investing heavily in state-of-the-art laser engraving machines, CAD systems and software.
Today Laserspics converts photographs, digital images, pictures and drawings to create two and three-dimensional engravings within its own beautifully crafted crystals, offering a personalised service across the UK to individuals, retailers, business companies and local authorities.
Company director Mr Thakore says “Our business idea came from an overseas holiday and we developed it. We take pleasure in doing the work ourselves without outsourcing any part of the process.
